Airtime Vending Services (AVS) is a comprehensive electronic (pinless) airtime vending solution designed specifically for mobile network operators to enhance distribution and reduce costs that the conventional PIN based systems inhibit.
Airtime vending products can be broken down into ten separate constituents
- Dealer Vending – allows dealers to sell airtime to subscribers
- Mobile Banking Purchase – allows purchase of airtime for mobile operators who have a network deployed mobile banking service (i.e. Z-Pesa
- Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Vending – allows subscribers to top-up their airtime directly from ATMs
- One-to-Many Distributors – allows a single account holder to recharge airtime of multiple subscribers at one time<
- Top-up Scheduling – allows for subscribers to enter an agreement with their operator to automatically top up their account at fixed levels or times
- Automatic Multi Top-up – similar to Top-up Scheduling, but for multiple accounts
- Bank Vending – allows for banks and vendors to enter an agreement to directly debit accounts on purchase of airtime
- Print Your Own Voucher – allows dealers to link with operators and use a point of sale device (POS) or portal, to generate vouchers/PINs for resale
- Live Here, Pay Home – allows purchase of airtime using an e-Payment service
- Reporting and Management – a web based management system for airtime solutions
